When we first found our home at 6957 Country Club Terrace, we immediately fell in love. There was something about the unique exterior and the beautifully maintained grounds that drew us in right away. The community felt incredibly peaceful—tucked among serene woods, it offered a quietness that’s hard to find.
But it was when we stepped inside that we truly knew this was the one. The open floor plan completely took our breath away. The natural light pouring in, the warmth of the wood floors, and the spacious, flowing layout made it feel like home from the very beginning.
Over the years, what we’ve loved most is the sense of peace this home and community provide. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down—whether that’s enjoying a quiet morning, taking evening strolls through the neighborhood, or walking the trails with the dogs. It’s simple, but it’s special.
We’ve also really appreciated how convenient the location is. Being so close to Route 70 makes it easy to get to downtown Frederick in just minutes, and even commute toward DC or Baltimore. Some of our favorite spots nearby include Tsunami for ramen, Oscars when we want a variety, Liberty Seafood for amazing crabs, and local wineries where we’ve spent many great afternoons with friends.
Frederick County has meant a lot to us as well—with its excellent schools, beautiful parks, and strong sense of community. It’s one of the reasons we were drawn here in the first place.
When we moved in, the home already felt perfect. We’ve made a few small updates over time, like changing some bathroom fixtures, adding a fan in one of the bedrooms, and installing timers on the bathroom fans for convenience—but overall, it’s always been a place that just felt easy to live in.
What we’ll miss most is the openness of the layout and the peacefulness that surrounds it every day. This home has truly been special to us, and while we’re excited for what’s next, it’s not easy to say goodbye.
